WHAT TO EXPECT

After getting in touch with us, we will organize a suitable time for one of our nurses to come to your workplace and administer the flu vaccination to your team.

2.
PREPARATION 

Before the chosen date, you will receive an email with consent forms and information for your employees to read over and sign. All employees must have a signed consent form before receiving the flu vaccination or medical health check.

3.
CONFIRMATION

Closer to the day, you will receive confirmation and reminder email with the date and time your team are required to be present. Posters and pamphlets can also be provided prior to the day.

4.
ON THE DAY

Staff are advised not to leave the premises within 20min of receiving the vaccination. The nurse will remain onsite for 20min after the vaccination has been administered. Aftercare pamphlet and complimentary chocolates are supplied.

One nurse can vaccinate up to 30 people in a 45 minute period, however, more time may be needed to answer any questions or concerns you or your employees may have.

Auckland Workplace Health offers vouchers for all staff who are unable to attend the scheduled session. The vouchers are redeemable at GP Clinics nationwide.

This vaccine contains the 4 flu strains expected to be in circulation in the coming Southern Hemisphere winter. It is designed to protect against four different flu viruses; two influenza A viruses and two influenza B viruses. This aims to give broader protection against circulating flu viruses. The influenza vaccine for the New Zealand 2025 season contains the following four virus strains:
